When trying to lose weight, exercise is
something very important for a simple reason
that it helps you burn a lot of calories. In
order to be effective it has to be performed
no less than three times per week.

exercise is performed at the right intensity
it is almost exclusively burning fat. Target
heart rate for fat burning should be
somewhere between 60-70% of the MHR (maximum
heart rate)
And how to calculate MHR? Well it is very
easy. If you are 40 years old your MHR is
220-40, which is 180, and 60% of 180 is 108
beats per minute.
